What Fatherly is

Fatherly is an AI agent that sends and receives text messages to help new and expecting fathers. It remembers what you tell it and uses that context in future conversations.

Not medical advice

Fatherly shares general information about babies, parenting, and development. It is not a doctor, nurse, or licensed medical professional. Nothing Fatherly says is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. For anything serious, contact your pediatrician or call 911. If you think you have a medical emergency, do not text Fatherly — call 911.

How it works

You text the Fatherly number. An AI model generates responses. Your messages, your child's information, and the context Fatherly stores about you are processed and retained to make the service work. You can opt out at any time by texting STOP.

Privacy

See our privacy policyfor what we collect and how we handle it. Short version: we collect what you tell us, plus message metadata, and we don't sell your data. We use industry-standard service providers (Anthropic for AI, Supabase for storage, Sendblue for messaging).

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use Fatherly.

Limitation of liability

Fatherly is provided as-is. We make no warranties. We are not liable for decisions you make based on information Fatherly provides. Always use your judgment, and consult a real doctor for medical questions.
